All 7 pillars
    Pillar 3

    Reliability

Our architecture is designed to perform intended functions correctly and consistently. We utilise highly available network connectivity and redundant connections between private and public environments to eliminate single points of failure. By scaling horizontally and automating failure recovery, we ensure your workload adapts to demand while maintaining a high uptime percentage.

    Foundations of Consistent Performance

Reliability is the ability of a workload to perform its intended function correctly and consistently when expected. At Ken's Virtual Workspace, we provide the strong foundations required for this, ensuring that service quotas and network topologies are meticulously planned to accommodate your growing traffic.

Designing for Failure and High Availability

A fundamental principle of our design is the removal of single points of failure. We deploy all production workloads across at least two Availability Zones. For KaribuKloud, this means your cybersecurity monitoring is "statically stable"—we provision enough capacity in multiple locations so that if one zone is impaired, the system continues to operate without needing to provision new resources during the crisis.

    Automated Recovery and Data Integrity

We implement automated healing at all layers of the stack. Upon detecting a failure, our automated systems perform remediation actions, such as restarting services or replacing instances, without the need for human intervention. Furthermore, we protect your data with automated, encrypted backups that are periodically tested for recovery to ensure we meet your Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
