Background

KaribuKloud, a leading technology solutions provider, faced challenges in managing its fleet of Android devices across multiple locations. 1. Migration to New Android Management:
   1. Cleared existing settings in Workspace ONE UEM.
   1. Removed previous Workspace ONE EMM registration from the Google Admin Console.
   1. Recreated Android profiles to align with the new management system.
2. Enabling Google Android Device Management:
   1. Enabled partner access to device management in the Google Admin Console.

3. Integration with Google Device Management:
   1. Created a Service Account in the Google Cloud Console.

   1. Registered Android EMM in Workspace ONE UEM.
4. Enrollment of Android Devices:
   1. Enrolled factory-reset Android devices using Google admin credentials.
   1. Ensured automatic and periodic sync between Workspace ONE UEM and Google Admin Console.
5. Configuration of Android Profiles:
   1. Set up security and privacy profiles to enforce policies such as disabling incognito mode.
   1. Assigned profiles based on organizational units to ensure consistent policy application.

Results

The implementation of Workspace ONE UEM transformed KaribuKloud’s Android device management. Key outcomes included:
